Hi,
I think I may have been in the wrong forum(I was in the Lounge when I brought this up before) but I am still trying to remove Spyware terminator. It seems to me to have taken over, I wanted to remove it but no matter how I try to get it off my computer I get the Error 6:the handle is invalid. I have tried CCleaner and Windows uninstall and get the same message
Can anyone give me a way to get rid of this program? I sure would appreciate any help I can get.

A couple of very nice folks tried to help me but I think I must have gotten lost---sort of a newbie here though CCleaner is one of my favorite software helper.
'YoKenny' asked my OS & SP Which is Vista Home Prem. 32 Bit w/ serv.Pak1

and hazelnut asked (hazelnut @ Oct 3 2008, 06:15 PM)
"Also as well as the info which YoKenny asked for, have you tried uninstalling spyware terminator in safe mode?"
Unfortunately I do not know how to delete in the safe mode.

Is there anyway to get rid of this spy terminator I can handle ---the error I get as preveiously mentioned is error 6---what the heck is that anyway?
Many thanks for any help directed this way

I think that is the proper solution. Uninstall not delete. If you attempted to delete the program as opposed to uninstalling it then that would certainly cause problems as parts of the app may still remain. If thats what you did you'll need to reinstall then uninstall.

How to: Starting in Safe Mode
Once in safe mode, goto the Control Panel, Programs (Uninstall a Program) and remove Spyware Term. from there.

Personal note. The large italic text gave me a headache.

Joanie, when in safe mode please make sure you uninstall not delete Spyware terminator.
