CCleaner Not Wiping Recycle Bin

Using latest CCleaner and the winappi file, sometimes CCleaner is not erasing the recycle bin properly, i had 2GB of deleted stuff in my Recycle bin and CCleaner wiped it in 4 seconds so something is wrong, it did this on two pcs as well, both with winappi.
Whats going on, a bug ? It doesnt do this always, maybe every 3 wipes.
Cheers.

Personally I think that Secure Deletion should be removed from CCleaner and that duty should be left to applications that are designed to do that like Eraser!

Man, Kalis, you must have a monster Recycle Bin(s) !!!
Or maybe that is part of the problem.
Tell us about your Recycle Bins. Also any messages that you get when you put stuff in there will help.
Just for your benefit and some other users as well. Do this fun thing before you print off your
CCleaner.ini file . After you see it, you may want to create a new backup of YOUR CCleaner.ini file also.
1. Start CCleaner.
2. This is the fun part. Just don't "goof it up" and not reset the option the way that it was when you started.
Toggle each "individual" option. If it is ticked then untick it and then tick it again . Vice-versa if it is unticked at the start.
3. Do this for each "individual" option in each category in each tab. Windows tab and Application tab.
4. Do this in Registry issues as well. Remember, "individual" options only.
5. Do this in Options > Settings This also includes the language.
6. Do this in Options > Advanced This also includes toggling the Save settings to INI file. This must be toggled last and left ticked but it must be toggled or this whole process is wasted.
7. Exit CCleaner.
Now look at the CCleaner.ini file. Nice and sorted and it shows each and every setting. We don't have to remember what the embedded internal "default" is.
When you provide a list then you can edit out personal info with XXX's and such. PLEASE DO SO.
P.S. Here is an example of my CCleaner.ini file.

Hi davey,
Its weird coz its done this on a few pcs now, 3 of which are freshly installed XP Pro SP3 systems. There are no strange things about any of the recycle bins, and CCleaner does empty them, just doesnt shred the contents each time. !!
I ticked /unticked and made a log, recycle bin is listed but it hasnt made any difference, If it was just my PC that was doing this, well ok.... but it isnt, i have seen this on quite a few now.
Heres the ini.

Do you get any messages when you delete things to the Recycle.?
CCleaner can't shred what just gets deleted and not actually put into the Recycle Bin.
You may want to set-up a Special Shred Folder. And drag and drop all the "monsters" into there.
Have an Include entry in CCleaner for that folder to be cleaned.

Not A bad idea that Davey, thanks.
My recycle bin is as follows 10% Drive C: and Drive D: both reserving 3.99GB each But my girlfriends Recycle bin is only 1GB, and that does the same occassionally.
Anyway a custom folder for crap sounds good.

The files are usually large zip files or avi files which i have burnt to disk and then no longer need. My Girlfriends pc shows exactly the same symptons when she deletes and tries to shred the same movie type clips and zips. I have used CCelaner for many years and this never happened before, the fact it is happening on two totally different PC's is odd.
The onlt thing that the PC's have in common is that they are both XP SP3 and have recently added the same recent set of windows updates.
If i gather some temp internet files it always shreds those, it just cant handle large 100MB plus files. Also CCleaner is making my floppy disk drive growl on each wipe, how can i stop that ?
Thank you.
