hey,

when i try to open system restore it gives me this message " The maximum number of secrets that may be stored in a single system has been exceeded", i also can't update windows.

here is the error image.

There have been one or two posts around forums lately with this error number and message, also they could not do a defrag.

May be a virus.

Suggest you follow this guide here and then post in the Spyware Hell section of this forum
