Have you rebooted since installing CCleaner. If not do so and try again.
If it still has problems turn off the deleting options that are set in Norton and try again.
Why are you not using the latest CCleaner ?

v2.06.567 isn't the latest version there have been 5 more versions out since then CCleaner 2.11.636 is the latest. They normally come out once a month so your 5 months behind. ;)

Where did you download from?

I always use Filehippo

Ward,
Have you been updating your CCleaner versions regularly ?
If so, there may be problem with how you are installing CCleaner.
Anyhow, is the latest version working OK for you?

No, not yet. First I must to install ± 10 updates, after I go create a network with my desktop.
After all that I go update CC.

Thanks Davey for your interrest, I let you now when it is done. :) ( install the latest CC, maybe in the 10 updates there is a repair for that problem, I hope)

We are glad to have helped.

Now, what to do to avoid this in the future?

I refer you to this post about Software VERSION checkers and Software Patches or Software Update checkers.
http://forum.piriform.com/index.php?s=&...st&p=110891

Use both these products at least 1 Time a month or as often as you have the time.
Each one will help you to keep all your software up to date.
No need to check for updates automatically every time you run something, unless it is security related programs and files.

These products are free to everyone and make this task quick and simple. :P

Quick and simple leaves more time to go out and have some "FUN" in your life.
You deserve it !!!

Best wishes,
:) davey
