Is there a way I can clean history, etc... in this player (VLC media player)? I don't want to add the wrong file location or something and have to reinstall it again.

I don't know off hand because I didn't use VLC long enough to find out. You may want to look in VLC's settings to see if there's something along the lines of disabling the creation of "Recently Used Files" or "MRU."

Then again VLC "may" be storing the info in an INI configuration file located in its program files folder - in which case CCleaner wouldn't be able to clean it.
