The features touted in CCleaner say it will clean the history in FF 3, but my reading finds bookmarks & history are now stored in the same places.sqlite file (I'm sure this wasn't just coincidence).

Unless I'm missing something, how can CCleaner or any other cleaner can securely wipe history in FF 3? So what gives?

Is there an actual way around this? Yes, history can be set to expire in FF or delete private data, but not securely.
