My Sandboxed Firefox is rather slow in opening -- generally 13sec-15sec. Is this fairly normal when opening FF 2 under Sandboxie? Are there any setting tweaks to speed it up a little?

FF2 opens about as quick sandboxed as it does un sandboxed for me and I haven't tweaked anything for it.

Definitely several seconds slower for me -- 5 sec to 10 sec slower, in fact. I'm using Sandboxie 3.28.

You could keep an eye on the link below where the author of Sandboxie releases new beta versions versions for testing and which are usually quite stable.

This is because sandboxie has to copy files needed (written/access times) by firefox when it starts up to the sandbox folder. This is a normal delay when larger apps are started sandboxed. If it really bothers you maybe portable firefox will start up faster sandboxed. Probably not...
