l'm running a scan under other files and now documents, doing deep recovery. Both time it just freezes at 45%, it's a laptop so l can't leave it on all night like i did the first time.
Specs:
Vista Sp1
AMD Turion 64 x2 TL-58
2GB of DDR2
NVIDIA MCP67M

Mine freezes as well, but not until it is nearly 70% complete (approx. 1.6 million files found). Once it reaches that point, I have to end the process and restart my PC. I'm scanning a 400GB HDD.

Can anyone help here as I want to get the files off the drive before it is shipped off to the factory for a different issue to be repaired.

Can you post debug logs and we will look into this.
