I am running CCleaner 2.09.600 on Windows XP SP3.
When I run my CCleaner with the /auto switch it sometimes leaves an instance of RunDLL32 open, apparently trying to clean my temporary internet files.
By default I don't have delete temporary internet files selected, my settings are saved in an ini.

Hi braindedd, I'm sorry you haven't had a reply before now, and I don't know too much about the cause of this, except for one instance I read recently, of this problem occurring when using CCleaner with Internet Explorer still open.
I hope this may help, as I've no other suggestions at the moment.
Welcome to the forum by the way.

Thanks for the reply DennisD, as for my problem I'm thinking it may be a quad-core problem?

Having had a little google a lot of quad core vista posters seems to have it as you say.
Do you have any other issues with it, apart from when you use CCleaner?
