I got infected by Worm & Trojan then My folder option in control panel is gone.How to restore or recover it ?
I used latest AVAST.

There may be other things wrong.
The best thing for you to do is get help at the HiJackThis forum.This way you can restore your PC.

I'd also recommend updating to SP3.

try malwarebytes.org and download their Rogue Remover freeware, see if it helps!

don't forget to run your registry cleaner after youve done the above

could save you a lot of time and effort

PS; You might want to download Rogue remover on a friends pc and then install it on yours if your internet browser is being prevented from doing its job oweing to the malware on your machine

I have tried Malwarebytes Anti malware & RougeRemover free,the result is the same.

is it safe to update SP3 now?

Its best to not let the malware infect your system in the first place.

Yes.

I have SP3 installed on my XP Home and Pro systems without problems.

I think you should follow davey's advice and provide a HijackThis log to see if your system is clean.
