I did a fresh install of Vista Business, then used Windows Update to install 52 updates and then installed Service Pack 1.
Result was my pc would boot 4 out of 5 times, 1 out of 5 times it would freeze in the progress bar right before log screen, very annoying

Anyway, I don't want to bore you to death so I just say THANK YOU a lot, cause I run CCleaner registry cleaner and everything went back to normal.

My only question, if you are kind enough to answer, is what would cause this issue? I have attached the log with all the crap in registry deleted by CCleaner.

My guess would be Missing Shared DLLs.

Yes I thought so too. It is funny it only froze on random times and not every single time, but who cares actually
