What is the reason the winapp.ini is now embedded in the CCleaner exe? How do you look at it if you wanted to see the paths and keys for cleaning or modify it if you want?

The most recent one in that thread is for 2.07 and we are at 2.08.

It doesn't explain why it's embedded now. What was the reason for doing this? I liked it better the other way. It was done a few versions ago but I didn't update for a few so this is the first version I am seeing it in.

Think you'll have to ask why in that thread I linked to Anthony as I don't know, and also to ask for the updated ini

Thanks I will bookmark it maybe that will be updated every release. Still would like to know why it was done though. Is there a benefit in it?
