Hi there, first and foremost I want to say CCleaner is a great application and one of the best overall taking its also free.
Good job on the developers and I hope there will be enough donations to keep you motivated to work on improving CCleaner!

Anyways i want to suggest compress old files deletition added to CCleaner.

Thats it and hopfully this suggestion of mine would be incorporated in CCleaner in some future update!

Thanks.

Why would you want to compress old files before deletion? ;)

windows automaticly compresses unused files and its pretty non-standard to change the amount of days before it compresses them and its also easily forgoten so for that reason, speaking of which those are unneeded compressed files 99% of the time.

So it has nothing to do with some1 manually compresing files before removing them thats just absurd!

Well thats just as absurd. You only compress files to save space. The cost of hard drives today you don't need to.

While on the topic of cleaning things that Windows Disk Cleanup does (Compress Old Files), I would also like to suggest that there be a seperate "Clear System Restore Cache" option.
