I'm looking to replce my DVD player and am looking to get one that will play anything that you put in it, i.e. Region 1,2, DVDr & CDr.

Anyone recommend one?

Cheers

I'm not sure what one you should buy but you can save money by just getting one that plays dvds from the region you are from and making sure the dvd player you choose is listed here I used one of the hacks on my dvd player and it now plays dvds from all regions :D

I mainly need it to play DVDr and have been told that there is a £20 player from Amazon that is pretty good at that.

Oh that everyone's drive can only be changed a limited number of times its just one of those stupid anti copyright things. Download AnyDVD if you want to change it beyond the limit. You put a disc in your drive and it changes the region automatically, works a treat. You can try the mentioned app for 21 days after which you have to cough up some £, I'm not aware of any free apps that does the same thing maybe someone else may be able to recommend a good free alternative.

I recommend that you get a Region Free (also known as Region 0 (zero)) or one that can be unlocked to be region free.
With a region free coded DVD player you can watch DVD movies from all over the world no matter what region they are coded/bound to.

Being able to play mp3 is pretty nice too. :)
