We had a similar question the other day. CCleaner - Recent docs not deleting.

On my older version at work 1.17.094 where I don't want my recent files deleting it does delete them. ;)

P.S. I asked the IT techs to update mine to the latest version.

Now the college has been running CCleaner for 4 years that I know of. Can you please update my computer F13A-WS-03 to the latest version 2.06.567 as I've been running 1.17.094 for 4 years. There have been 40 updated versions out since then.

We should not be installing this software by default as I believe that it is only free for personal home use and not for corporate or commercial purposes. Will close this job. In any case a standard user should not be able to run this software as it accesses the registry which standard user accounts do not have the permissions to do.
The newer versions do delete the recent files if ticked and they don't if they are not ticked.

Thanks,
