I was under the impression that the CCleaner program would get rid of those annoying CiD IE pop-up adds or atleast thats what it said when I googled it. I ran the Program and to no avail I still have them. Can anyone offer me a solution PLEASE???????? They are driving me insane. Thank You for all you can do.

Howdy Suthin Boy,
I'm one myself. Country boy born 'n raised in the sleepy little southern city of Washington,D.C.
Yes CCleaner does a lot for getting rid of stuff and sometimes by accident some malware.
However, Piriform forums does have a HiJackThis forum and Spyware Hell forum where you are now.
Your best procedure is to use the following link.Use it and worse come to worst you post your logs on HiJackThis forum as instructed in the link.
These instructions are for those already infected.http://internetrotsy...wareremoval.htm

Good Luck,

NEW USERS ADVICE
SECURITY ADVICE - This advice is for the others who have not been infected YET.
DON"T PUT OFF your basic security software. It's easy to get and use.I don't even think I had to register to get it.DO IT NOW!!! YES !!! NOW !!! I can't stand avoidable crying and tears of all that is taken.
Pesonal I.D,Acct numbers, passwords, destroyed files, unrecoverable Pictures, being labeled a "security risk".How worse can it get ??? Yes,even worse than that. DO IT NOW STUPID !!! NOW DUMMY !!!
As security programs get better and better, malware programs get more and more devious.
As far as security goes I recommend you use this link.Bookmark it and Add to Favorites.

I use Windows Firewall,AVG 7.5 Free Edition and Spyware Blaster. They or their equivalent should be installed and active on every PC.They offer the best basic protection with minimal required attention and system resources.
These and MS updates are the only things I allow to automatically update. All other products I manually update.
Like the average PC user,I believe in keeping things simple.
I do have other security software installed and I use them on an as desired basis or undesired(needed) basis.
It is best to have them installed before you get infected.
Malware sometimes prevents anti-malware programs from being installed when you need it most.

My security applications I don't use a software based firewall as it slows down my browsing experience too much and the DSL supplied modem with built in hardware firewall does a great job preventing nasties from getting in.
