My computer has been acting hinky since I cleaned out a trojan. The trojan is gone, but many tihings are different on my computer.

First, the windows for any program come in minimized. I must maximize every time and they do not hold. I used to maximize, exit and come back in immediately, and the page stayed maximized.
Seems easy solution, but it eludes me. Everything has changed. I have thought about reformatting.

Reformatting seems to be problem also. My original CD for the operating system seems to be older than the version I am running. I have pack 2 disk also.
I got the pack 3 directly from the computer. Do I use the disk anyway and find a way to update the version. I am mystified.
