I have been using CCleaner for quite a while and have just noticed that when I use it all the contacts pictures in Windows Live Messenger disappear. They only return when I enter into an active conversation with a contact.
I have found where the display pictures are stored but do not know how to exlude them in CCleaner.
The stored files have huge long numbered names and I can't decipher which file represents each contacts photo.
Is there a known way that I can exclude a folder from being 'cleaned'
Thank you anyone who can assist

Hi brenda, welcome to the forum.
You can exclude a folder by going to "Options > Exclude > Add Folder". A window will pop up, and then you browse to the location of the folder you mention.
Then just highlight the folder (don't open it), and select OK. That's it.
