Hi, everyone!

I'm new to this forum, and not very familiar with CCleaner, so forgive me if the question that follows is too basic.

In the Programs section of Cleaner tab, I find Firefox, Applications, Internet, Multimedia, Utilities and Windows. Inside each of these tabs, there are a lot more options to be checked or not. For instance, in Windows tab, I have AdAware SE Personal, Grisoft AVG, Spybot, and WinRAR.

So here's my question: when I check any of these options, and run the cleaner, will CCleaner delete the update files of my antivirus, for example (in this case, AVG)??? Can I safely proceed to the cleaning of these programs, won't the update process be lost and my program get back to an outdated stage?

Thanks since now.

I use AVG and I have all the options ticked. It doesn't delete the actual update files as such it just deletes the log files that the update makes. Your AVG will perform as normal. ;)
