I'm sure it does but does it uninstall the software normally then run a check for left behind registry entries and files and folders say like your uninstaller does???

No, it just runs the programs own uninstaller the same as Windows own 'Add/Remove programs'.

It's just an additional tool.

Actually I agree, why have this option when it is just the regular add\remove?
Seems to me it is just a simple way to have an extra "featue" in the "features" list.
To have this option in a cleaner app, it need an extra feature, like additional reg clean on the target after an uninstall!

CCleaner is light years faster than opening 'Add/Remove Programs' because CCleaner doesn't take a long time "generating the list." Plus with CCleaner you can save the list to a text document. So if you got a new computer and want the software you use on it too, or were to format your system you'd know all the software you use - it's a feature I've used a few times.
Complexity of incoherent design.

I am wondering why in this uninstaller that there are files or programs that are not listed in the windows version of add/ remove? I see things like videotoolkit101, and copy... I can't even tell if they are .exe or .msi? can anyone help me with this?
thanks in advance

i have attached the text file of these programs i found in the uninstall area of CCleaner
