Been using Ad-Aware 2007 and this morning there was a software update, not a definitions update. I knew better than to download it, they always cause problems. Well it now takes 28 second for Ad-Aware to open. I run XP-SP2, Intel dual core processor, 2.0GB of RAM and it takes 28 seconds to open even with no other programs running. Once open it works fine, but I'm not waiting half a minute for any program to open. Too bad as I'ev been using Ad-Aware for years now. It's coming off and I'm sticking with Super Anti Spyware in its place.

Lavasoft sure made a mess of Ad-Aware. What a fall from that app has taken.

Once 2007 came out, I eventually uninstalled Ad-Aware SE. It was such a great program. Now I rely on AVG Anti-Spyware.
