Hi everyone

I use AVG Internet Security and Defender, which are displayed in Utilities on the CCleaner Application tab. I am right in thinking that CCleaner will only remove the log files and update temporary files of these applications - not the actual updates themselves!

You are correct, it will only remove the logs and temp files. It will not harm Windows or the programs themselves.
