After downloading and installing Recuva, it won't run the scan. It opens and when I click on Scan, the progress bar comes up and then up comes the infamous "Recuva has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
I've uninstalled and reinstalled. Even uninstalled, downloaded from different site and reinstalled.
Any suggestions?
I'm quickly become an anti-Piriform consumer! I am using this to combat the damage from CCleaner. My entire "My documents" were deleted. No I didn't select custom anything and no they weren't in temp locations. I have no idea what went wrong. I've used it for a year now with no problems and never changed any settings. Then Saturday everything was deleted. Now I'm trying to recover about 10 g of graphic design files.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
