chkdsk fragments

Hey guys,

I was just wondering if it is safe to remove chkdsk fragments with CCleaner? I thought it was safer to ask as I am not sure what they are. Thanks in advance for any advice.

They are "lost" fragments of file recovered by chkdsk so they could be anything. This article gives a pretty good explanation Recovering File Fragments
