Anyone knows what's with the reg000n files in %WINDIR%\ie7\ folder?
I have a few ranging from reg00001 to reg0101, about 8 KB each.
Can they be removed by CCleaner?

Windows XP, IE7

Thanks,
Dan

WINDOWS\ie7 is a backup of IE6, incase you want you uninstall IE7. After doing some resource on the matter. The folder is safe to delete if you are not going to uninstall IE7. As far as the reg files, I have no clue...

There is also a folder called ie7updates in WINDOWS, which includes the IE7 hotfixes. It is safe to delete them if you are not going to uninstall the hotfixes.
