ajacko Posted January 3, 2008 Share Posted January 3, 2008 Hi, having just updated this morning to try and rid my startup menu of a stubborn entry (another story) i've noticed 2 entries written in Japanese. They weren't there yesterday so I can only assume there appearance has something to do with this mornings update. Screen shot: I have no idea what they are, i cannot copy/paste the characters into google either. They may have been there yesterday but in English and so i wouldn't have noticed them. Has the update changed the language of these 2 entries or are they new? If new where have they come from? I cannot find any reference to these entries anywhere on the net. ajacko Posted January 3, 2008 Author Share Posted January 3, 2008 Hi sakura, thanks for the info, my oriental written language recognition isn't what it used to be . In the end I created a restore point and deleted them, figuring I didn't need them as i'd never seen them before. After a full shutdown and re-boot they haven't reappeared.
