Hi all!
Would appreciate advice as regards tweaking interfaces in regedit for Winxp
Q: does one need to set all options in HKCULOCalMachine\tcpip\Parameters like RFC1323, Sackopts, etc in each of the interfaces or just entering the mtu/mss for each interface be sufficient..

Sounds like you are talking about Dr TCP
tcp.png 6.45K

It permits you to set the parameters on each interface.
This is a pic of my WinXP Pro parameters.
tcp1.png 11.4K

Setting those parameters is a bit of trial and error and it takes a reboot to see if the changes have an effect.
The DSLReports Tweaking FAQ has some hints.

good one , try increasing your tcp window size, will help heaps if youre on broadband
considering you've set your mtu =1500, mss should be mtu-40= 1460 *44 and scale it to ^2 = 128480
if thats good, you wanna scale it by^4 = 256960
see which works best for you...
( I want to regedit manually , although I did start out with TCP Optimiser)
