I have an unwanted file on my desktop that I'd like to delete. Any attempt to delete, rename, or move it activates the error message: "Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk." When I check the Properties of this file, it is zero kb in size, so I'm guessing there's nothing really in the file. Why is it so stubborn to deletetion, and how can I remove it.

You could try using "Move on Boot". (Freeware). It's got some good reviews regarding your problem.
