Just wondering how many people use "Microsoft Virtual Earth" instead of "Google Earth"?

Haven't tried it craig, I normally use "Flash Earth", which doesn't need any install.

I'll have a look at it with this link I found. :rolleyes: :D

I've only knew about that Microsoft Virtual Earth for about one week and only because some cable TV news or weather channel uses it.

I used to have a 3DO edutainment ("education entertainment") game that had some virtual Earth model that could be zoomed in, etc., however I've never tried any of the modern variety. I think I'll try out that Flash Earth you mentioned DennisD since it doesn't install anything.

I found my house using the Microsoft VE (labels) feature on Flash Earth. :o :D

Yes it is. Although the map isn't current because it doesn't show the snow on the ground, and here I was thinking it was a live image. :lol: :rolleyes:
