In Win XP SP2, your product CCleaner does not remove items in:
C:\Windows\Temp

Same for:
C:\Documents and Settings\Dan\Local Settings\Temp

can you please fix these.

Thank you
Dan

Hi danost,
Windows temp files are saved for 48 HRS unless you uncheck the box IN OPTIONS > ADVANCED window.
My experience is to reset the option to save for 48 hrs.
What I mean is if you uncheck the box and run CCleaner, afterwards go back and recheck the box.Sometimes you have software etc to get out of there before it is deleted.
This gives you time to save what you want to keep.
Of course, I have never forgotten to move or copy something before it gets deleted.  :o

Windows has some files open for quick retrieval of info and they can be scheduled to be cleaned at next reboot.

Most notable are the index.dat files that keep info on which sites you visit.
