Hi

I found that there are some junk files in : C:\Documents and Settings\Grace\Local Settings\Temp AND C:\WINDOWS\Temp

I run CCleaner but the files are still there

do I have to edit something in the winapp.ini ?

thanks all

Hi TheSleeper,
LOOK in the OPTIONS window under Advanced.
You will see that the option to keep Windows Temp folders for 48 hrs is checked.
This is to keep those folders available for awhile longer. They may be needed for some work you still have to do.
You can UNcheck this but it is advisable to recheck it ASAP.
I found it better all around to leave it this way.
You will probably see it and some other files MARKED FOR DELETION.
Some files won't delete until a restart.
Happy Holidays!!! :) davey

P.S. Dont check any Advanced options in the Cleaner window unless you really understand what they do. They can cause you troubles and not give you much in return.

CCleaner is a great and safe product to use. Read the Beginners Guide before using it.
