Run CCCleaner - does the job, except that Google Desktop still finds web history items - apparently cached.

Any ideas how to completely clear Google Desktop history?

When you go to the home page of Google, sign in, and go to my accounts, should be a selection for web history or edit then you will see web history. Go there, delete all, and deactivate the service. It is saved on their servers.
