That is really weird....as far as I know, Yahoo is online, and all of the data is stored online. The only thing CCleaner would affect would be the Yahoo cookie...that would have your password/username saved if you chose to do so thorough Internet Explorer, Firefox, or whatever browser you are using...but it wouldn't/couldn't delete the emails themselves.

As CTskyfreak said, all the mails of Yahoo! Mail (and of any other webmail system) are saved on the remote server.
There is no way for CCleaner to access those data. For the same reason, restore your system would be totally unuseful as well.

Sorry, no idea.
To be clear, anything happening to your computer (wrong CCleaner actions, viruses, fire, and so on) can't affect in
any way your webmails, that are stored on the remote server of your provider (let's say it's just like an other computer)

So, for what is in my (poor) skills...

1) Some issue of Yahoo Mail (very rare)
2) You have deleted your mails by mistake (in this case they should be recoverable from the remote recycle bin)
3) Someone have stolen (or hacked) your passwords, and have deleted everything.

Same thing has happened to me. Ran CCleaner and now none of my emails work. Not Yahoo, not Hotmail, not NetZero and not even Groupwise (work email accessible at home). Also some websites wont load (not really concerned about the websites).
The emails are not deleted, its that the body of the email will not display. The frames are there on the page.
But, when I did try to delete that wont work either. Non of the functions in the emails work and the body of the text will not display.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with Script Error?
I followed the instructions to recover what CCleaner got rid of but it still didnt work.
I'm wondering if I should just re-install IE.
I'm using my sons computer now because I couldnt even access my email to activate this account for the forum.
Is there anyone out there has any clue to this issue?
Thanx for you time and help.

I have no idea if this will fix anything, however perhaps just restarting Windows itself "may be of help," especially if you haven't done so in a very long time.
Complexity of incoherent design.

You have no idea how many times I have rebooted. This is also happening with my Yahoo Instant Messenger but not with MSN messenger. Go figure.
I have turned off notifiction for script erro and I have gone through to verify that active scripting, active x and java re not being blocked by IE.
Other than re-installing IE I dont know what to do.
Its just very weird that this happened after I ran CCleaner.
I went and read http://www.windowsbb...ead.php?t=60559 but that didnt help me because I have no clue what the heck to do with the info.
I also try to do a restore (merge) with the CCleaner files but I dont think that it did anything.
I just have no clue what to do here and its bumming me out.
Thanx for you time and help!

Hello, :)
It is best to keep threads in the proper forum.Copy your post and put it in the SOFTWARE forum. That way all intersted in software problems and solutions will benefit.
You will also get faster response that way.
Thanks for your co-operation. :D

AVAST is a good anti virus application and it keeps its definition files updated quite frequently.
