Hi, Does someone know which folder CCleaner cleans in order to get rid of unwanted WU files please ?

I think its: C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download

Great, Do you know which files inside the SoftwareDistribution Folder can i delete myself maybe ?

SoftwareDistribution can be safely and securely emptied by Dial-a-fix (created by DjLizard).

Personally, I wouldn't delete any manually or using CCleaner until you see if Windows takes care of it for you.

If Vista is like XP, C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download will clean itself automatically 10 days after the update. A few small files (no filename extension but they are actually txt files) may remain but they should just be the licenses for some of the upgrades and add-ons included in the updates.
