hello d people i found a post on here with a guy helping his friend and he has the same problem. The thing is my computer runs normal its fast everythign works. But i have downlaoded all these programs recommended adn everythign and have ran sever free online scanns and everythign. I was looking through my folders and in the windows folder in the system32 folder i found a file that says "Delete_Me_Dummy_Skuns.dat i have no idea what that file is about. i am itching to delete it but i am thinking if someone put it on my comp or it got on my comp when my control panel disapeard maybe they want me to delete it and if i do it might screw up my comp or maybe itll fix it.


well if yous find the post with the guy who was helping his friend with the same problem i have could you get him to see if his friend has the same file in his system32 folder. Anyadvice would be appriciated thank you guys n gals.

i scanned my computer so many times with avast atnivirus, spy doctor, the online bit defender free scan, trend mirco house call, some other trojan remover site, adn a few other online scanning sites. also with the super anti spyware, i took a bunch of stuff out of my documents and put them on disks, i clened it right out except for the typical folders that com e with it, but i emptied them all out. And tonight when i got up and started my comp opened my menu and there it was my control panel adn i can access everythign it all works basically.

there are a few quirks yet im trying to figure out.

1) my internet explorer i cant uninstall because it says teh install file is gone.
2) when i go into my add remove programs where it says change/remove they dotn show up til you click on the name but internet explorer stil dotn have that even after i click on it.
3) and i still have the file in my system 32 folder called "Delete_me_Dummy_skuns.dat" adn im no tsure what to do with that.

but other than that its back to normal.

In the Browse to the file you want to submit: area, copy and paste this

C:\WINDOWS\system32\Delete_me_Dummy_skuns.dat

Then click Send File and it will show the below message

Can you also download HijackThis if you do not already have it installed and post back the log so we can get abit more info on whats running on your pc,

• Please then post the full log in your next reply.
