i was on myspace and i got off and ran CCleaner... came back a half hour later it said it was still working on it... then when i hit cancel it said that it didn't remove anything... WHATS GOING ON!?!?!?!

I think you are going to have to give a lot more information than you have in order for someone to give you some advice.
What is your operating system?
What version of CCleaner are you using?
Have you used CCleaner for quite a while already without problems?
Do you think you may have picked up some king of virus/malware from your surfing?
