wont defragment files in C:/SYSTEM~1

defraggler wil not defragment the files in C:/SYSTEM~1
does somewone know why

Give some more info please:
* Windows version you're using.
* The actual full directory path, not the short path name.

I don't know if you have the 64-bit version of Vista or not however this taken from Defraggler.com Features page lists the compatibility:

Vista Support
Defraggler supports all OSs released since Windows 2000, this includes Windows 2000, 2003, XP and Vista. Although 64-bit support is not included in this version, we are working on compatibility, so it will be available soon! Additionally Defraggler supports both NTFS and FAT32 file systems.

Edit:
Also make sure you are defragmenting under an Administrators account will full access!
