I know that files can be explicitly excluded from the Cleaner under Options/Exclude/Add File.

Is there a "safe" folder that is never cleaned by CCleaner such that files could be placed there and they would always be excluded implicitly. I don't want to put them in a regular "system" folder but perhaps there is a standard windows folder that would work for this need. I place text files on the hard drive that are tested by scripts and don't want them to disappear but also don't want to register each one with CCleaner to be excluded.

Help if you can. Thanks.

Um, you can put them in pretty much any folder you want. As long as its not in a temp folder or something like that CCleaner won't touch them. Or have I misunderstood your question?
