Messed around with it a bit further. I noticed that the program was recovering all thirty-two files very quickly considring the entire file size was 455MB. I tried recovering only a few files at a time and it took longer to recover the files which gave me hope but I still ended up with teh same result. "Damaged archive or invalid format"
Going to try to do it one file at a time next but I'm betting I'll end up with the same result.
Did get the same result as I tought I would. I installed various versions of the software until I got back to the earliest version I could find. Version 1.01.043(BETA). This version found all the same files but showed that the chances were very poor for recovery and said what files it had been written over with. Apparently the newer versions, 1.03 and above were having trouble detecting the recoverabuility of the files correctly. I apparrently can't get the software back but at least now I know why. Unless someone has another suggestion.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blather.
