I clean my registry all the time. Reg.Mechanic is the bench mark, always finding something several freeware programs don't clean. First run of RS and it found 280 items. I then checked it with RM and it came up a big 0! I think I'm impressed, what do you think?

CCleaner is a crap cleaner, not a registry cleaner.

Get RegistryMechanic & WinASO Registry Optimizer :D

From what I have heard on this forum and many others its not a good idea to use any of those "optimizeres" besides I used RM once and it screwed up my pc. I kept getting error 1606 when I downloaded new programs.

Don't get all happy just yet about RegSeeker, hence it will list some things that shouldn't be removed, especially v1.45 Beta the newest release, it found so much valid things I was tempted to go back to v1.35 Beta, however importing my old exclude.ini file fixed half of what was listed.

It may offer to remove some valid settings such as (this is not a full list):

CCleaner:
Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\CCleaner\Options

Cygwin (Cygwin POSIX Emulation DLL used by Burnatonce, etc.)
Software\Cygnus Solutions

Winamp:
Software\Nullsoft

Installed when WinXP is installed:
Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders
Applications\mobsync.exe
Applications\MMC.exe
Applications\fontview.exe
Applications\explorer.exe
Applications\drwatson.exe
Applications\CMMGR32.EXE
Applications\clipbrd.exe
Applications\accwiz.exe

ZoneAlarm 5.x:
System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\TrueVector Service
System\ControlSet003\Services\Eventlog\Application\TrueVector Service
System\ControlSet004\Services\Eventlog\Application\TrueVector Service
Complexity of incoherent design.

Hello guys, I got a problem here:

I have installed the winASO, made the scan, repair all of the 1670 errors found.
But now my computer wont starts, it stays blocked in the windows openning screen !

I cant even go to make a system restore, because everything is blocked.

Any advice,

Thanks

Hit F8 before the loading screen loads. Does Safe Mode work.
