I'm trying to recover pictures I deleted from a flash drive in my camera but Recuva only seems to recognise my hard disks. Am I doing something wrong?

Are you able to see your media card using Windows Explorer? i.e. can you see the card listed under My Computer?

Yes I can see the camera listed as CX7430 but Windows tells me there are no pictures

Do you usually access the pictures by browsing the media card directly, or do you use a client (e.g Kodak EasyShare)

I normally use the media card through Windows explorer and use the MS scanner and camera wizard which is what I used to delete the pictures.

It sounds like you have the camera plugged into the computer (unless your media card is called CX7430). You may need to take the card out of the camera and insert it into a media reader. In the mean time, do not take any photos as this will reduce the chance of a successful recovery.
