Hello
What are the benefits of using the CCleaner Uninstall/Rename software option? as opposed to uninstalling from the control panel. I have renamed CCleaner in this menu to my own specification, yet it does not change the Start Menu listing, nor the Desktop icon. It does however modify the name in the Windows Software list - which is nice!
How have you (Cleaner users) been using this option?
thanks

I think it is a matter of personal choice.
Some people use the CCleaner software uninstaller, some use windows add/remove in the control panel, and some have found good benefits can be had by using a program's own uninstaller.
I personally don't rename software programs, but that's just me
