New in version 1.06:
Disk-scan is approximately 30% faster. CSI scan is now more efficient. Added "Scan for low-risk threats" option, to scan for targets with low TAC index. Ad-Watch CSI engine performance highly improved; using less CPU and Memory as well as having a smaller footprint. GUI adapted to use the new TAC.

I dont know about the rest of it but it did scan faster.

Looks the same as the last one did except they added shadows on the menus. As long as it works and its simple I dont care what it looks like.

Actually it looks drastically different, but much more sleek. Also, the thing is noticeably faster when scanning, faster when deleting, less freezy, and is generally more responsive and snappy... I also liked the results of a scan when you find objects ("!" instead of a buggie, and dramatically changed results window with tabs that organize a lot of information, yet keep it all simple). Very good update... it finally resolved many pressing issues. You can kinda tell they're getting geared up to get very competitive in the anti-spyware industry, and this is why they're "professionalising" the hell out of Ad-Aware. I like it! Ad-Aware Personal definitely proves it's worth buying Ad-Aware Plus.

I did find one improvement, I could minimalize it easily while it was scanning and use firefox at the same time. I could do it before to but now it dosent seem to freeze like it did before.

Thanks, I just downloaded it, and its much faster than last version, didnt even need to go afk to scan it. ;)

The new buttons does look more sleek. I would wish they just removed all the skin though. :P

And yes, it is more responsive.

I like the changes.

However, the only things they have left to do in the next version is:
- Use a main program icon that matches the good looks of the program.
- Decrease program load time.
Complexity of incoherent design.

It is good but there was one thing I didn't like about it...

...When it scans the memory, it made my firewall shut down all Internet access because it reported this:

12:27:31 AM Process network access blocked AD-AWARE.EXE modified memory of WINAMP.EXE

Except it did that to everything that was running and using the net. Already figured out a few ways to get around it but wow it was just annoying. Did the same as Webroot SpySweeper.
