- You will be promted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.
- If you see a Windows [dialog asking if you want to install this software, click the Install button.
- The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files,
- When the "Update progress" line changes to "Ready" and the "NEXT ->" button becomes available, please click on it.
- Click on the Scan Settings button, and in the next window select the Extended database, and click Ok.

Thanks TheUn4given1
Sorry, I overlooked you had Kaspersky installed when I asked you to run the scan
, I would of chose another vendor if Id noticed it sooner but its nice to see the online scanner didn't find any problems except for the btwebcontrol.dll false positive which is fine to ignore,
Run HijackThis and choose Do A System Scan then place a check next to these entries
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant =
O16 - DPF: {03F998B2-0E00-11D3-A498-00104B6EB52E} (MetaStreamCtl Class) - ht*ps://components.viewpoint.com/MTSInstall...l?noreloadredir
O18 - Filter hijack: text/html - (no CLSID) - (no file)
Close all open browser and other windows except for HijackThis and press the Fix Checked button
Apart from that your logs look fine, any slowdown is likely due to the amount of programs you have running so you may want to consider using the System Configuration utility's (Start > Run > MSConfig) Startup tab to reduce the amount of items starting with Windows if there is programs listed that you do not need running all the time and can be started manually when required.
Let us know if you still have problems though
