i just installed recuva, and each time i try to scan my deleted files on my computer, it stops almost half way through and this message pops up at the bottom of the screen, in the program

An attempt was made to move the file pointer before the beginning of the file.

any help will be great

thanks

Can you post an error log here and we'll look into this for you.

i couldn't get an error log, the program didn't even offer me to see one to begin with

i just installed the latest version, and it didn't even do anything, it just gave me details of my HDD

it's saying that it found 0 files (0 ignored) in 0.129673 seconds

that obviously can't be right, right?
