What does this actually do? The Update / Hotfix's, do these actually get deleted? I can recoup 323MB by doing this clean, and I'm a little worried that it will remove the updates I have done to windows. I've just had a major system failure and spent three days re-installing and updating windows and now I really don't want to have to do it all again! Plus for some reason I've lost more than 4GB of space somehwere in the system. Weird.......

Anyway, can anyone help?

Thanks. :)

The hotfix option removes the uninstaller for the hotfixes. This of course means you will no longer be able to uninstall any updates that you find are causing you a problem.

Always best perhaps after windows updates to wait a week or two to make sure they don't cause any problems first.

use the advanced options under the windows tab with care unless you are sure you know what you are doing :)
