when running CCleaner 2 beta build 475, it initially worked OK, but has now started to display the (image attached below) error while halfway thru the cleaning cycle. it does this when run at startup or when run manually. reinstallation on it's own does not help. reinstalling the old 1.x then reinstalling 2 beta does work for a couple of days (and thru a few reboot cycles) before the error happens again.

As a suggestion, you can try checking only one item at a time in the tree and run the cleaning process manually until you get the error to show up.
While this won't solve the problem it will help people at Piriform to pin-point/narrow down what item is causing the issue.
While they don't fix this issue you simply keep the item unchecked and the error should not show up again.
