Has anyone else had this problem. Since I've run CCleaner, any game that I play completely freezes up my system and I have to restart my computer. At first I thought it was a problem with the current game I was trying to play, but then I tried running other games that I've played within the past few days and they freeze up too. My computer seems to run just fine otherwise. It was the CCleaner v2.00.475 Beta version that I ran, and I also think I might have screwed up by not making a Registry backup. I had never used CCleaner before and I cannot think of doing anything thing else out of the ordinary that could be the source of this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never. Its a user space thing it wont mess with kernel mode drivers and the like. Your problem is elsewhere.

Can you use system restore to go back to before your problems began?
Also run your virus and malware scans just to be on the safe side.
