Hi,

Well, I guess my topic description pretty much says it all. I am wondering...is it safe and/or advisable to use CCleaner to Clean Hotfix Uninstallers and Prefetch Data??

Help Please?!?

It's perhaps best to leave anything in the advanced section unticked unless you are sure of what you are doing.

Well prefetch I would say definitely no (much debated but I think its generally accepted now that cleaning prefetch is pointless, read HERE for reasons why).

Hotfix uninstallers - maybe, but as Hazel said only if you know what you're doing (I run it occasionally but understand, and am prepared for, the possible consequences). Have a look at the Beginners guide to help answer any further questions you may have:
