He recently has/had issues with his pc ie. AVSystemcare etc plus a few other undesirables. Would this effect this particular scan and if so what can he do?
He also has this program with other registry scanners

A friend of mine has the latest version oc CCleaner on his pc. However, when running 'Issues' he gets about 80-88% of the scan complete and the program closes.
He recently has/had issues with his pc ie. AVSystemcare etc plus a few other undesirables. Would this effect this particular scan and if so what can he do?
He also has this program with other registry scanners

I'd recommend he post a HijackThis log to this forum to make sure they are all gone seeing you sill having registry problems.
That may not fix the problem theirs no knowing what damage The 'undesirables' did to the registry, but its still worth getting a
pro to look through the log.
